By KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A large Ukrainian manufacturer of corrugated cardboard – Poninka Cardboard and Paper Mill-Ukraine (Khmelnytsky region) in January-October increased production of corrugated packaging by 25.3% compared to the same period in 2022, to 71.2 million square meters.
According to statistics from the Ukrpapir association provided to Interfax-Ukraine, the factory continues to be one of the top three leaders in the production of these products after the Kyivsky Cardboard and Paper and Trypilsky Packaging Plants.
According to statistics, over ten months, paper production at the factory also increased by 29%, to 650 tonnes, and containerboard by 9.2%, to 93,900 tonnes.
At the same time, in October, production of corrugated boxes increased by 30% compared to October 2022, to 7.8 million square meters, and paper and cardboard by 22.5%, to 7,200 tonnes.
In monetary terms, the factory produced products worth more than UAH 1.962 billion in January-October – 8.8% more than a year earlier.
