KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PJSC Centravis Production Ukraine, part of the Centravis Ltd. holding, is implementing measures to minimize problems with slight delays in the delivery of products to European consumers due to the blockade of three border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
“I would like to inform you about the current situation in relations between Poland and Ukraine at the border. As mentioned earlier, Polish truckers are protesting in Yahodyn and Hrebenne-Rava Ruska, which has caused logistical disruptions. Our logistics team has redirected the cargo to the border points of Krakovets and Shehyni and have added a 10-day buffer to our delivery schedule,” the company’s sales director, Artem Atanasov, wrote in a letter to customers on Friday.
Of the two vehicles previously reported to be moving slower than expected, one had already crossed the border, he said.
“We expect the second one to cross the border early next week,” the top manager said, adding that regarding the current operational situation, the plant’s production continues uninterrupted, with all resources, including materials, energy and water, readily available. The company strives to maintain high standards of service.
