Hungary donates 100 lung ventilators to Ukraine – head of Lviv Regional Military Administration

KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Monday, November 20, Hungary provided Ukraine with 100 lung ventilators, head of Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytsky said.

“They were taken to Lviv region and immediately distributed among medical institutions in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, and Donetsk regions, as well as Kyiv and Lviv cities,” Kozytsky wrote on the Telegram channel.

In Lviv region, the device is already in service in a hospital, where they provide assistance to soldiers, veterans and civilians injured due to hostilities. Kozytsky noted that this is a powerful boost for intensive care units.

The cost of one device is more than EUR 30,000.

“Grateful to the government of Hungary for the decision to finance this medical equipment for our state. Thanks to the Hungarian Ecumenical Service, which delivered it in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. May the equipment serve reliably in the capable hands of our medical specialists and in its own way help bring the main victory closer,” the head of the Regional Military Administration said.
