Ukraine creating 'Army of Robots,' 'Army of Electronic Warfare' – Fedorov

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – An “Army of Robots” and an “Army of Electronic Warfare” will appear in Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said during a live broadcast at ForbesTech-2023.

“We will soon launch the ‘Army of Robots,’ ‘Army of Electronic Warfare.’ We will rely on our ideology – market opening, transparency and the maximum opportunity to attract entrepreneurs who have already created various products and know how to scale products,” Fedorov said.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that it is important not only to offer innovative developments, but also to be able to scale them.

Earlier it was reported that the “Army of Drones” hit a record number of Russian strongholds.

It was also reported that the State Budget 2024 provides for UAH 13 billion until the end of 2023 and UAH 43 billion in 2024 to finance drone army projects. The total need of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the purchase of drones is estimated at UAH 200 billion.
