KYIV. Nov 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The European Union will provide EUR 50 million to Ukraine to restore the port infrastructure damaged as a result of Russian attacks, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has said.
“Despite the war, Ukraine keeps feeding the world. In this effort, you can count on the EU. We continue enhancing our Solidarity Lanes and will provide EUR 50 million to repair your port infrastructure,” von der Leyen wrote on X social network.
“Together we ship Ukrainian grain to the world,” she added.
A letter addressed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy was attached to her post on the social network.
