By KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Accrued insurance premiums under international insurance contracts Green Card, concluded by member companies of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU), increased by 33.85% in January-October 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, to UAH 4.448 billion.
As reported on the MTIBU website, the number of Green Card agreements concluded during this period increased by 1.99%, to 1.382 million.

At the same time, the amount of compensation paid on claims increased by 2.6 times, to EUR 36.621 million, while the number of paid claims increased by 2.2 times, to 12,026.
MTIBU is the only association of insurers that provides compulsory civil liability insurance of land vehicle owners for damage caused to third parties.
