By KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Insurance company Varto (Kyiv) became a member of the Insurance Business association, according to a press release from the insurance association.
“Companies that choose to join our association gain access to a large amount of methodological information, which is very important now that the insurance regulatory framework is being actively updated,” notes general director of the association Viacheslav Cherniakhovsky.
It is also noted that the company has been operating on the market since 2019. It specializes exclusively in voluntary health insurance and accident protection. It cooperates with more than 600 medical institutions and more than 8,000 pharmacies.
In nine months of 2023, the company collected UAH 21.109 million in insurance premiums and paid UAH 10.466 million in compensation. Its assets as of September 30, 2023 amounted to UAH 39.270 million, equity capital UAH 34.289 million, insurance reserves – UAH 2.256 million.
The Insurance Business association is the largest professional association in the market in terms of the number of participants. The association includes 28 insurance companies.
