KYIV. Dec 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Agroindustrial holding Agricom Group, which produces grocery group products under the Dobrodiya Foods trademark, will expand the line of certified gluten-free WOWOATS oat flakes to five products, the company’s press service reported.
According to the company’s release, which is available to Interfax-Ukraine, in 2022, a structural division of the agricultural holding Dobrodiya Foods passed an international audit and received a certificate of compliance of food products with the gluten-free standard for manufacturers of gluten-free products – AOECS. In 2023, the certificate was confirmed. As a result, the company became the first and only company in Ukraine among producers of gluten-free oat flakes.
Dobrodiya Foods LLC, after conducting research in June 2023, received individual numbers assigned by the Ukrainian Celiac Union for each product in the WOWOATS line, which confirm that they are all gluten-free. Such a number must be applied to individual packaging along with the Crossed-out Spikelet sign, the company explained.
“This international mark means the safety of the product and inspires consumer confidence, since the crossed-out spikelet is a guarantee that the product has been tested and is truly gluten-free. It should be noted that each batch of the product, after production, undergoes additional mandatory laboratory testing for gluten content,” Dobrodiya Foods said.
Agricom Group is an agro-industrial group founded in 2013. It specializes in the development, production and distribution of food products from grain crops.
