Epicenter consolidates assets to expand warehouse space in Kalynivka

KYIV. Dec 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has allowed the Epicenter K network to acquire the assets of the construction company Ukrgazbud, which will enable the company to expand its logistics capacity.

“Permission has been granted to Epicenter K LLC to acquire assets in the form of a single property complex owned by the private joint-stock company Ukrgazbud,” the committee said.

As the press service of Epicenter K clarified, real estate properties owned by Ukrgazbud are adjacent to the company’s warehouse premises in the Kalynivka logistics center (Kyiv region). Thus, the company is consolidating assets to expand warehouse space.

According to the annual financial statements for 2022, the value of assets of PrJSC Ukrgazbud amounted to UAH 679.2 million, net loss – UAH 10.845 million, liabilities – UAH 279.5 million.

The final beneficiaries are Oksana Myronenko, Petro Lozovsky, Oleh Yermolatiy.

As indicated on the Ukrgazbud website, in the 1980s the company was the world leader in petrochemical construction. It began operations in 1946 under the name Trust Ukrtruboprivodbud, in 1991 it was renamed Ukrgazbud. In 1994, it was transformed into a joint-stock company.

The company carried out construction both in Ukraine and in Russia, Belarus, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa, developed gas and oil fields, built underground gas storage facilities, pumping and compressor stations.

Epicenter K LLC was created in 2003 and opened its first hypermarket in Kyiv in December of the same year. Currently, it is developing the country’s largest chain of shopping centers, Epicenter, which is a market leader in the retail trade segment of household goods and repairs.
