Germany sends Ukraine new package of military aid

KYIV. Dec 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The German Federal Government announced the transfer of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.

According to a report on the government website, Ukrainian forces received three Gepard self-propelled guns and 30,240 units of 35mm ammunition, Leopard 2A6 ammunition, some 2,500 units of 155mm rounds and 25,536 units of 40mm automatic grenade launcher rounds.

The package also included two HX81 tractor units, five HX81 semi-trailers, eight Zetros trucks, two WiSENT 1 MC mine clearing vehicles, two border guard vehicles and eight vehicles.

In addition, the package included ten Vector UAVs and two AMPS communications protection systems for helicopters.
