By KYIV. Jan 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Law enforcers in Kyiv region investigated in 2023 ninety criminal cases on appropriation of public funds during the implementation of restoration projects, ten cases on abuse of office have been sent to court, Kyiv Regional Administration said on the Telegram channel Monday.
“A total of 43 cases on abuse of office during the restoration of the facilities destroyed as a result of Russia’s aggression were investigated. Ten of such criminal cases on the amount of damage exceeding UAH 1.188 million have been sent to court. More than UAH 437,000 was returned of mere motion,” Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko said.
