KYIV. Jan 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The international hotel chain Louvre Hotels Group (France) is negotiating with a number of Ukrainian developers, and projects in Kyiv, Lviv and Bukovel are being considered, the development manager in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe for the international hotel chain Louvre Hotels Group Philippe Campagno said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
As reported, in the spring of 2024, the chain plans to open its first hotel in Ukraine, under the Tulip Hotels & Residences brand as part of the Kristal Plaza center (Lviv, 24 Panas Myrny Street).
“At the moment we are negotiating with one of the Ukrainian developers regarding another Tulip Residence hotel, another is interested in (the brand) Golden Tulip. There is keen interest in Kyiv, Lviv and Bukovel, we are considering specific objects there, but agreements have not yet been signed. Also, probably, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk. It all depends on the investor, how actively he is now ready to invest in the creation of a professional hotel facility. If he decides to join the network and makes the appropriate modifications to the fire and security systems, then we are ready to cooperate,” Campagno said.
According to him, LHG has “one of the most competitive proposals”: negotiations start with 6% of the income of the room stock, without the turnover of the restaurant and commercial space.
Louvre Hotels Group, founded in 1976, has been part of Jin Jiang International since 2015. The group has a network of more than 1,720 hotels from 1 to 5 stars in 54 countries, including Royal Tulip (5*), Golden Tulip (4*), Campanile (3+*), Tulip Hotels & Residences (3*, hotels and apart-hotels for long-term stays), Kyriad and Kyriad Direct (3* and 2*, respectively) and Première Classe (1-2* level), five Sarovar brands in India, as well as soft brands Hôtels & Préférence Group and TemptingPlaces for exclusive and boutique hotels.
