KYIV. Oct 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Pavlo Kovtoniuk has been appointed director general of Energoatom’s separate subdivision Rivne nuclear power plant (NPP), the company reported on Telegram.
"Today, during a working meeting at Rivne NPP, Energoatom President Petro Kotin announced the personnel decisions made and introduced the new plant managers to the team. Pavlo Kovtoniuk has become the director general of Rivne nuclear power plant," the report says.
Kovtoniuk in the last four months – since June 27, 2022 – has been acting director general of Rivne NPP. In general, he has been working at the plant for more than 35 years, of which almost 14 he held the post of chief engineer and deputy general director.
"Viacheslav Stoyanov is now the chief engineer – first deputy director general of Rivne NPP. Over the past four months, he has been acting in this position," Energoatom noted.
