KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Myroslava Dudash has announced her intention to acquire a 9.97% stake in PrJSC Persha Insurance Company (Kyiv), according to the insurer’s official information posted in the information database of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
It is also noted that as of October 27, 2022, she does not own shares of the company, there are no affiliates among the shareholders of the company.
As reported, Persha collected UAH 228.1 million in gross premiums in January-September 2022, which is 20.16% less than in the same period a year earlier. The insurer’s net premiums decreased by 9.71%, to UAH 194.748 million, and earned premiums by 2.12%, to UAH 196.205 million.
In the first half of 2022, Persha paid its customers UAH 96.523 million in insurance indemnities, which is 15.79% less than the amount of payments for the same period in 2021. At the same time, the level of payments increased by 2.20 percentage points – up to 42.33%.
As of June 30, 2022, the company’s assets increased by 0.20%, to UAH 787.395 million, equity – by 9.18%, to UAH 163.477 million, liabilities decreased by 1.92%, to UAH 623.918 million, cash and cash equivalents increased by 10.62% – to UAH 346.644 million, investments in government bonds amounted to UAH 3.618 million.
Persha has been operating in the insurance market of Ukraine since September 2001. The main specialization of the company is car insurance using innovative IT technologies.
Persha is a member of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.
