KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Zaporizhkoks, one of the largest producers of coke and chemical products in Ukraine, part of Metinvest Group, in January-October of this year, reduced production of blast-furnace coke by 15.1% compared to the same period last year, to 598,600 tonnes.

According to the company, 70,600 tonnes of coke were produced in October, while in September – 61,300 tonnes, and in October 2021 – 63,900 tonnes.

"The decline in production compared to the same period last year is associated with a shortage of raw materials caused by hostilities," the company explained.
