Ukraine restores bridge in Stoyanka near Kyiv along Zhytomyr highway

KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The bridge in the village of Stoyanka near Kyiv along the Zhytomyr highway has been fully restored, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.

"The bridge in Stoyanka has been restored! Today, the passage is open in both directions on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway," Tymoshenko wrote on his Facebook on Thursday.

He noted that this bridge along the Zhytomyr highway became an obstacle for the invaders during the attack on Kyiv in February.

"After the de-occupation, less than two months later, the left passage over the bridge was restored on the remains of old structures. Already in May, traffic was resumed along the M-06 highway for trucks and a major restoration of the right side of the destroyed bridge began. Now the bridge is fully operational," the deputy head of the President’s Office described the situation.
