KYIV. Nov 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine provided UAH 33.3 million to finance the Own Business micro-grant program.
"Thanks to the funds provided today, about 150 people will receive micro grants to start or expand a business. Hundreds of new jobs will be created. This is very important both for the recovery and development of the economy, and for overcoming the problem of unemployment in the country," First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko said.
As of November 4, 14,600 applications for grants were received under four grant programs of the eRobota project. 2,131 positive decisions have already been made for a total of UAH 1.8 billion. In particular, 1,911 positive decisions were made under the Own Business program; 167 under the Recycling program; 53 according to the Garden/Greenhouse programs.
