By KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine published on its website a draft resolution on a minimum guaranteed share of housing construction for discussion.
According to the draft, it is proposed to establish a minimum guaranteed share of housing construction for Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv and Kharkiv in the amount of 10% of the total area of future facilities, for other settlements – 5%.
As stated in the explanatory note to the draft resolution, the apartments included in the guaranteed share remain the property of the developer, which may become an additional incentive for the completion of construction work on time. In addition, the guaranteed share can cover part of the costs necessary to complete the construction of the house in case of force majeure.
The draft resolution was developed in accordance with law of Ukraine No. 2518-IX dated August 15, 2022 on guaranteeing real rights to real estate objects to be built in the future.
