Naftogaz launches 46 fuel stations under U.GO brand based on seized assets of Glusco – ARMA

KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Naftogaz Oil Trading (a subsidiary of Naftogaz) has already launched 46 fuel stations under the U.GO brand based on the assets of the seized Glusco network of 126 gas stations, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) reported.

"Thanks to the efforts of the manager, today the seized property benefits the energy market and meets the needs of consumers in fuel. Some 46 gas stations and related infrastructure facilities already operate under the U.GO brand, which in total provide jobs for 560 employees, and literally every day the network expands the list of operating facilities," acting head of ARMA Dmytro Zhoravovych said.

As reported, in May 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine agreed on the proposal of ARMA to transfer the arrested assets of the Glusco company (the Rosneft network until 2018), which were associated with Viktor Medvedchuk, to the management of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy.

The asset manager was Naftogaz Oil Trading LLC, with which ARMA subsequently entered into a fixed-term management agreement.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia, a 100% subsidiary of Naftogaz, has a network of 21 U.GO gas stations in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. From 2022, Naftogaz Oil Trading also has the right to use the brand, and plans to expand the network in other regions.

Both companies within Naftogaz will independently choose suppliers for filling station networks in their management and pursue an independent pricing policy.
