By KYIV. Nov 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Zhydachiv Pulp and Paper Mill (Lviv region), part of the Osnova holding, in January-October 2022, increased its production by 21.7% compared to the same period in 2021, to UAH 413.38 million.
According to the statistics provided to Interfax-Ukraine by the UkrPapir Association, thus, over ten months, the plant slightly slowed down the growth rate of this indicator compared to the same period last year (over nine months it was 23.2%, eight – 30%).
In real terms, production of corrugated boxes continues to maintain a stable positive trend, having increased by 29.5%, to 15.9 million square meters. At the same time, output of containerboard (including corrugating paper) decreased by 15.5%, to 10,700 tonnes.
At the same time, there is a significant reduction in paper output by 42%, to 3,350 tonnes.
According to the statistics of UkrPapir, in January-October, production of paper and cardboard in Ukraine decreased by 44% compared to the same period last year, to 415,800 tonnes, and corrugated packaging by 41.5%, to 364.2 million square meters.
