KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Social stability and fulfillment of social obligations in Ukraine are possible thanks to the help of Ukraine’s partners, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video statement on Tuesday.

"There are some very necessary financial news today. Firstly, there is another tranche of macrofinance from the European Union for EUR 2.5 billion. This is essential. We are also waiting for the approval of the macrofinance program for next year in the amount of EUR 18 billion," he said.

According to him, the United States has announced that it will soon send additional $4.5 billion in direct support to our budget. "I thank the partners for these weighty steps of solidarity. He said "since the beginning of a full-scale war, we have been making stable payments to pensioners – this is almost 11 million Ukrainians and Ukrainian women."

"Pensions have been indexed, as prescribed by law. Some 6 million citizens have some form of social support. This month alone, social payments for almost UAH 14 billion. This is assistance to large families, low-income, single mothers, people with disabilities.
