Chasiv Yar refractory plant sees loss fall by 85.7% in 2021

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – JSC Chasiv Yar Refractory Plant (Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region), part of Vesco Limited (Cyprus), which unites the clay mining business of the investment company UMG Investments of SCM Group, in 2021 saw its net loss fall by 85.7% compared to the previous year – to UAH 11.566 million.

According to the information for the annual general meeting of shareholders of the company, scheduled for December 26 of this year, which will be held remotely, retained earnings by the end of 2021 amounted to UAH 348,000.

The shareholders intend to sum up the results of work in 2021 and renew the members of the supervisory board and approve major transactions.

Chasiv Yar Refractory Plant specializes in the production of refractory products, in particular, aluminosilicate refractories, and ground refractory materials.

According to the National Depository of Ukraine, for the fourth quarter of 2021, Zaporizhstal owned 24.99% of the shares of the plant, Vesco Limited (Cyprus), which unites the clay mining business of UMG investment company of SCM Group – 68.1018%.

The charter capital of JSC Chasiv Yar Refractory Plant is UAH 499,325, the par value of the share is UAH 0.01.
