Kyivmiskbud sees net profit fall to UAH 5.725 mln, payment of dividends postponed

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Holding Company Kyivmiskbud (Kyiv) in 2021 saw its net profit fall by 18.4% compared to the financial result in 2020, to UAH 5.725 million.

According to the company’s announcement in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission about the meeting of shareholders, which is scheduled for December 21 and will be held remotely, the issue of paying dividends based on the results of Kyivmiskbud’s activities in 2021 is proposed to be postponed to the next regular general meetings of shareholders. This is explained by the difficult situation in the construction industry, as well as the goal of preserving the vital activity of construction sites in the winter period of 2022-2023.

At the same time, it is indicated that the company’s retained earnings decreased by 0.2% last year, to UAH 1.435 billion.

The total accounts receivable increased by 43.8% – up to UAH 504.99 million. In addition, long-term liabilities increased by 39% to UAH 11.3 billion, current liabilities increased by 58.6% to UAH 3.96 billion.

Kyivmiskbud increased its assets by 38% in 2021, to UAH 16.8 billion.

Kyivmiskbud Holding Company was created on the basis of assets of the state municipal construction corporation in 1994 by combining controlling stakes in 28 enterprises and other assets in its charter capital. The holding company includes 40 joint-stock companies in which the company owns shares, six subsidiaries and 51 enterprises as associate members.

Its majority shareholder, according to the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, is Kyiv City Council (80%) as of February 2021.
