Govt allocates another UAH 152.69 mln to Economy Ministry from state budget reserve fund for business microgrants

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 152.69 million from the state budget reserve fund to the Ministry of Economy for the budget program on providing grants for creating or developing a business, Taras Melnychuk, government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, said on the Telegram channel on Friday.

This program involves the provision of grants for the creation or development of processing enterprises, the creation or development of horticulture, berry cultivation and viticulture. At the same time, the message does not indicate how the funds are distributed for each of the state-supported areas.

As reported, on November 18, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 45.63 million to the Ministry of Economy from the state budget reserve fund for microgrants for businesses, including UAH 23.12 million allocated for providing microgrants for creating or developing their own business, and UAH 22.57 million for providing grants for the creation or development of horticulture, berry cultivation and viticulture.

On October 28, the government also allocated UAH 320.95 million for similar purposes, and UAH 103.3 million in August. On June 21, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 16 billion from the state budget reserve fund for the implementation of this program.
