Starlink to be imported into Ukraine without duty, VAT – Shmyhal

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers will approve the necessary documents for Starlink to be imported to Ukraine without duty and VAT, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"Last week, at the initiative of the President of Ukraine, invincibility centers were launched throughout the country. About a thousand of them were opened by the State Emergency Service. These points have electricity, water, heat, and communication. We are working to ensure that each such center is provided with Starlink. The government is currently negotiating the possibility of buying a new large batch of thousands of Starlink terminals for Ukraine. Today we will also approve the necessary documents so that Starlink can be imported to Ukraine without duty and VAT," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.

According to him, such a decision will reduce their cost and provide the largest number of people and organizations with them.
