Govt terminates agreement with Belarus on cooperation in exploration, use of outer space for peaceful purposes

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine terminated the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Belarus on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.

As the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, said in his Telegram channel, the decision was made at a government meeting on Tuesday.

In particular, the framework agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes, signed on June 12, 2009 in Kyiv, has been terminated.
