By KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed the sale of electricity from alternative sources, along with electricity from other producers, under bilateral agreements at auctions, which are held in the continuous double form.
The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers is enshrined in resolution on amendments to the procedure for conducting electronic auctions for the sale of electricity under bilateral agreements dated November 25, 2022 No. 1319.
"The sale of electricity produced from alternative energy sources under bilateral agreements can be carried out at auctions held in the continuous double form," the document published on the government portal says.
Continuous double auction is an auction at which an unlimited number of sellers and buyers can simultaneously participate, provided that they comply with the requirements of the auction rules.
