Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant reduces sintering ore production by 29% in Jan-Nov

KYIV. Dec 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant reduced commodity iron ore extraction in January-November 2022 by 28.9% from a year ago to 2.804 million tonnes.

The enterprise said that the Pokrovska mine had extracted 20,000 tonnes of iron ore, the Kryvy Rih mine had extracted 27,000 tonnes, the Kozatska mine had extracted 28,000 tonnes, and the Ternivska mine had extracted 30,000 tonnes in November.

In total, the plant produced 105,000 tonnes of products in November, against 150,000 tonnes in October, 200,000 tonnes in Sepember, 270,000 tonnes in August, and 280,000 tonnes in July.

Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant specializes on iron ore extraction. In 2021, the plan increased extraction by 12.7% from 2020 to 4.298 million tonnes. The enterprise is owned by Metinvest and Privat Group.
