Interest in renting country houses for winter season doubles in Ukraine – LUN

KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Interest in renting private country houses for the winter season has doubled in Ukraine, the press service of the new buildings portal LUN told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to LUN analytics, in Kyiv region, the most budget options start from UAH 3,000-4,000 per month for a "house in the village" 30 minutes from Kyiv by car. The advantages of this format include a stove and a well, which make the house almost completely autonomous. Of the shortcomings – the lack of urban infrastructure and old repairs.

With a budget of UAH 10,000, it is possible to find more modern private houses in the suburbs and even townhouses up to 100 square meters. Among the offers for UAH 20,000, there are houses with a generator and fireplace rooms, which can be considered good options for those who plan to spend the winter with a sufficient level of comfort. Cottage townships of the premium segment offer houses of 370 square meters for $10,000 per month.

Western regions have been accepting refugees since the last week of February. According to LUN, the choice is extremely limited due to excessive demand, however, houses can still be found. For example, in Lviv, in Sykhiv district, with a budget of UAH 10,000, a house of 50 square meters with its own well, gas heating and a fireplace is available for rent. In Zakarpattia region, which is so loved by IT specialists, there are still houses for rent in small villages and towns for a budget of UAH 12,000. In Ivano-Frankivsk, with a budget of UAH 12,000 per month, houses of 80 square meters with gas heating are available.

In Odesa, the most low-budget option found in the LUN database is a one-room house of 45 square meters with a gas boiler for UAH 4,500. For UAH 8,000, a house of 60 square meters in the city with individual heating, a local area and access to urban infrastructure is available, which is important if you come with children or animals. For a budget of UAH 12,000 – on the outskirts of Odesa, a house of 160 square meters with a gas boiler, a septic tank and a fireplace, which makes it almost independent of city communications.

In Poltava, which received a large number of IDPs this year, demand for apartment rentals has increased several times, which is reflected in the number of available options. For UAH 10,000, they offer a one-room house of 60 square meters in the suburbs, but with a generator and a potbelly stove. For UAH 20,000/month – a house of 140 square meters with a fireplace, a boiler and a large adjacent area.
