Focus Estate Fund acquires fifth shopping center in Poland

KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Focus Estate Fund (Ukraine) has closed a transaction on the acquisition of the Atrium Mosty shopping center in Płock (Poland), the price of the deal has not been disclosed, the company’s press service has said.

"We follow our strategy of diversifying the investment portfolio by acquiring properties in different geographical parts of Poland as well as by supplementing the format of retail parks with convenience shopping centers with excellent location," Maxim Shkolnick, General Partner of Focus Estate Fund, said in a press release.

At the same time, this is the fifth investment of the fund in the Polish retail sector. The remaining four assets are located in the cities of Opole, Sandomierz, Zgorzelec, Bartoszyce.

Atrium Mosty is a building with a total area of 18,000 square meters in the center of Płock. IT houses more than 50 shops. Biedronka, Sinsay, House, Media Expert, Pepco, CCC, Martes Sport, Rossmann are among its anchor tenants. It has 660 parking places.

As Shkolnick said, "the available vacancy allows us to reconceptualize the shopping center and transform it into a place of family leisure which will successfully combine not just the shopping needs but entertainment and relaxation."

The seller of the property Atrium Group was represented by JLL, while the buy side was backed by Czabański & Gałuszyński, Gleeds and KKLW.
