OKKO filling station chain, Come Back Alive fund accumulate first UAH 100 mln for Ukrainian drones

KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The OKKO filling station network and the Come Back Alive fund have accumulated UAH 100 million out of UAH 350 million for SHARK reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems, the company’s press service said.

The joint initiative of OKKO and Come back alive started on November 1, within its framework, UAH 1 from the cost of each liter of PULLS 95/DIESEL fuel sold at gas stations is transferred to the purchase of complexes.

"We are grateful to our powerful driver community, which has actively joined the initiative. There are already actually eight complexes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our goal is to accumulate funds for ten SHARK by the end of the year. We decided to make our additional contribution to the project and transfer to SHARK another UAH 5 million," OKKO CEO Vasyl Danyliak said.

"The SHARK reconnaissance complexes are waiting at the forefront. We are grateful to the partners for the common project and thank everyone who supports it by refueling PULLS in the OKKO filling station network, or transferring funds to our separate account "Eye for an Eye". Together we do not just accumulate funds. We systematically cover the needs of aerial reconnaissance officers, because each reconnaissance complex consists of three brigade-level drones, a launcher and a specially equipped vehicle-command control post," director of the fund Taras Chmut said.

OKKO also said since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the network has already sent more than UAH 200 million to help the affected military, volunteers and regions. The company feeds the defenders of Ukraine for free at its filling stations near hot spots, took part in the restoration of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, and purchased resuscitation vehicles and cars for the special forces.
