NBU organizes creation of common banking network Power Banking including 1,200 branches

KYIV. Dec 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) organized the creation of a common banking network Power Banking on the basis of 1,190 branches, the press service of the regulator reported.

According to the report, the branches of the general network are provided with alternative energy sources, backup communications channels, enhanced cash collection and additional staff.

ATM national roaming operates in such branches.

It is indicated that about 80% of the branch network belongs to systemically important banks.

At the same time, the network has 204 branches of Oschadbank, PrivatBank – 140, Ukrgasbank – 94, Raiffeisen Bank – 80, UkrSibbank – 77, Sens Bank – 74, FUIB – 63, Accordbank – 51, TAScombank – 42, Kredobank and Pivdenny Bank – 32 each and Ukreximbank – 25.

The NBU also published an electronic map with data on duty departments, their address and contact phone number.

As of Monday morning, there were 185 branches of the Power Banking network in Kyiv, 88 in Odesa, 67 in Lviv, 53 in Dnipro, 42 in Kharkiv, 30 in Zaporizhia, 24 in Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kryvy Rih – 21 each.
