By KYIV. Dec 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Center for Transport Logistics branch of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) urgently ordered 40 tank cars from the Polish Brand Rock Sp.z o.o. following a tender in the amount of EUR 5.96 million, according to the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.
According to the information, cars are being purchased for the 1435 mm European gauge, which only in a few places in the west of the country enters the territory of Ukraine.
The delivery time for the wagons is from December 14 to December 31, 2022. Other delivery details are not yet available.
Brand Rock was the only bidder.
As reported, after the start of the war and a shortage in the oil market, the government at the end of May determined Ukrzaliznytsia as the state importer of fuel for the needs of the economy.
