Emergency Service units receive specialized equipment from Germany

KYIV. Dec 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The State Emergency Service received from Germany 28 units of special and specialized equipment to improve the quality and efficiency of rescue operations under martial law.

As reported on the State Emergency Service’s official website, the transfer of equipment took place on Friday at the training ground in Rivne region.

The event was held at the initiative of the German Embassy in Ukraine, Ukrainian rescuers received special equipment from the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW).

The certificate for obtaining special equipment for the representative of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine was presented by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine Anka Feldhusen.

Lifts, loader cranes, tankers, dump trucks, tankers, trucks with generators were handed over to Ukrainian rescuers.

Feldhusen assured Ukrainian rescuers that the German government would continue to help Ukrainians in the fight against the Russian aggressor.

The Federal Agency for Technical Relief provides assistance after disasters and accidents in Germany and in more than 100 countries.
