Naftogaz will supply gas to churches and sports organizations in 2023 at same price as budgetary institutions

KYIV. Jan 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The government of Ukraine has agreed on the decisions of the board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy to allow its subsidiary Naftogaz Trading gas supply company to supply natural gas to sports institutions, as well as churches on the same terms as for budgetary institutions and organizations, at a price of UAH 13,658/1,000 cubic meters excluding VAT, transportation and capacity fees.

The decision of the Cabinet of Ministers is enshrined in the relevant resolutions dated December 30, 2022 (No. 1213-r and No. 1215-r) on some issues of the activities of Naftogaz Ukrainy, published on the governmental portal.

"To agree on a decision … on the company’s supply of natural gas to religious organizations under an exemplary contract for the supply of natural gas to budgetary institutions and organizations, the terms of which were approved by the decision of the company’s member dated October 12, 2021 (No. 208), from January 1 to December 31, 2023," the text of order No. 1215-r says.

As reported, Naftogaz Trading from August 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 supplies natural gas to budgetary institutions at a price of UAH 13,658/1,000 cubic meters excluding VAT, transportation tariff and the coefficient used when ordering power per day, the full final price of gas is UAH 16,553/1,000 cubic meters.
