Odesa company will adjust project for building Kyiv metro line to Vynohradar by late 2023

KYIV. Jan 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – KB Teploenergoavtomatyka LLC (Odesa) won the tender of Kyiv Metropoliten for adjusting the project for the construction of a section of the Syretsko-Pecherska metro line to the Vynohradar residential area worth UAH 69.4 million.

According to the announcement in ProZorro, the contract with the tender winner was concluded on December 29, 2022. The deadline for completing the work is December 30, 2023.

According to Opendatabot, KB Teploenergoavtomatyka was established in 1999. Its owners are Tetiana Beletska (70%) and Oleksandr Pavlik (30%). According to the company’s financial statements for 2022, its net loss amounted to UAH 994,000, income – UAH 10.5 million.

In 2020, the company was engaged in projects for the overhaul of the Khreschatyk and Shuliavska metro stations in the capital in terms of ensuring free access for people with limited mobility.

As reported, the construction of the Prospekt Pravdy and Mostytska stations of the Syretsko-Pecherska line of the Kyiv metro towards Vynohradar began in 2018. Kyivmetrobud became the general contractor according to the results of the tender. The cost of works proposed by the winner amounted to UAH 5.981 billion. In accordance with the agreement dated November 20, 2018, the transfer of the finished facility was scheduled for November 26, 2021, subject to the use of the target budget, the contract expired on December 31, 2021.

Later, in 2021, Kyivmetrobud filed a lawsuit against Kyiv Metropoliten to amend the contract for the construction of the metro section in terms of postponing the commissioning of the facility until May 12, 2023, and the contract – until June 16, 2023.
