Agrarian sector expects Rada to adopt five important bills as soon as possible – UAC

KYIV. Jan 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UAC) recalled five important bills that require the speedy adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to ensure the stable operation of the agricultural sector and support the country’s agricultural sector.

According to the organization’s Facebook page, bill No. 8298 on reducing financial burden on agricultural producers working in the occupied territories, or territories with ongoing hostilities, by exempting group 4 from single tax for agricultural producers is urgent for adoption.

In addition, the UAC recommends that the Rada adopt bill No. 8079 on providing support to taxpayers in wartime by reducing penalties for late filing of tax returns if this happened due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as bill No. 8051 on providing partial compensation for costs and subsidies for development of domestic farms, including for future construction and purchase of equipment.

The association noted as urgent bill No. 8025 on the introduction of separate state support for farmers through subsidies and loans and bill No. 7588 on improving the efficiency of the use of agricultural land by entities of the public sector of the economy.

"At the same time, the issue of developing and amending the Tax Code of Ukraine in order to regulate the situation with exemption from paying the minimum tax obligation in the territories where hostilities were (are) or occupied territories remains extremely urgent," the association summed up.
