By KYIV. Jan 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Centravis Ltd., which includes PrJSC Centravis Production Ukraine, creates Top Groups holding company in Switzerland, the board of directors will also be located there.
According to the appeal of Centravis CEO Yuriy Atanasov to clients regarding the founding of Top Groups holding in Switzerland, before the war, in November-December 2021, an action plan was developed to reduce managerial, operational and financial geopolitical risks that were obvious by that time.
"We inform you that on the last day of 2022, the Swiss authorities granted permission to Centravis to create our holding company Top Groups, and also provided the opportunity for the board of directors of our group to settle in the Swiss city of Lugano," he wrote.
According to him, as a result, the company benefits from the Swiss system of corporate governance and proximity to the Western financial system and institutions.
"We continue to strengthen our stability. We strongly stand with you, with Ukraine and with the Ukrainian people," the CEO emphasized.
Centravis is one of the ten largest manufacturers of seamless stainless steel pipes in the world. The company’s production is concentrated in Nikopol, which has been shelled almost daily by Russian troops since July this year.
Centravis is founded in 2000. Its production facilities are located in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region).
Centravis Ltd. holds 100% of the shares of PrJSC Centravis Production Ukraine.
