KYIV. Jan 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian seamless pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe reduced steel output 36.3% year-on-year in January-September 2022 to 463,000 tonnes, according to a company presentation.
Pipe production fell 30.2% to 309,000 tonnes and railway products 49.6% to 64,000 tonnes.
Steel production grew 43.9% q-o-q to 177,000 tonnes in Q3 2022, pipe production fell 4.5% to 105,000 tonnes and railway products grew 33.3% to 24,000 tonnes.
Steel production rose 28.1% in 2021 to 971,000 tonnes and pipes 32.5% to 614,800 tonnes, while railway products fell 9.7% to 172,100 tonnes.
