Dniprometiz posts UAH 17.6 mln profit in Q1 2023 against loss a year earlier

KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Dniprometiz (Dnipro) of Ukrainian businessman Sergiy Tigipko in January-March of this year received a net profit of UAH 17.581 million, while it ended the same period last year with a net loss of UAH 8.645 million.

According to the interim report of the company, for the first quarter of 2023, net income increased by 54%, to UAH 683.802 million.

At the same time, the undistributed profit of the enterprise by the end of March 2023 amounted to UAH 257.664 million.

As reported, in 2022, Dniprometiz reduced its net profit by six times compared to the previous year – to UAH 25.572 million, net income increased by 1.1% – to UAH 2.474 billion.

Dniprometiz manufactures hardware products from low-carbon steels. The capacity of the enterprise is 120,000 tonnes of products per year.

According to the National Depository of Ukraine, for the fourth quarter of 2022, T.A.S. Overseas Investments Limited (Cyprus) holds a 98.6578% stake in Dniprometiz.

The charter capital of PrJSC Dniprometiz is UAH 83.480 million, the par value of the share is UAH 68.08.
