KYIV. May 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In January-March 2023, TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) attracted UAH 659.75 million in insurance premiums, which is 21.6% more than the corresponding figure for the same period in 2022, according to the company’s website.
According to the report, the largest increase in payments following the results of the reporting period was recorded in the voluntary car insurance segment (KASKO) – by 67.3%, to UAH 139.15 million of premiums, which is 21.09% of the insurer’s total payments.
At the same time, the share of compulsory insurance of civil liability of car owners (OSAGO) in the company’s portfolio was 31.72%, or UAH 209.3 million of premiums, which is 36.9% more than a year ago.
Under the Green Card policies, the company attracted UAH 149.01 million of insurance premiums over the first three months, which is 22.59% of the insurer’s total income and exceeds the corresponding figure for the same period last year by 61.3%.
The share of voluntary health insurance in the company’s portfolio was 14.06%: under voluntary medical insurance policies, TAS collected UAH 92.73 million in premiums for the first quarter.
Under property insurance contracts, the company attracted UAH 15.62 million in premiums, which is 10.8% more than in the reporting period last year.
The volume of proceeds from other insurance policies in January-March reached UAH 53.92 million.
