AB InBev Efes Ukraine to distribute 2 mln cans of 'humanitarian' drinking water in Ukraine

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC AB InBev Efes Ukraine (Kyiv), one of the largest brewing companies in Ukraine, as part of humanitarian assistance, imported into the country 2 million cans of drinking water bottled specifically for the needs of Ukrainians in Belgian Leuven.

"Our partners Caritas Ukraine and the Food Foundation UA will deliver water to regions where there is a shortage of drinking water, and people need it most. In the near future, the first truck will be delivered to Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv region," the company wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

AB InBev Efes Ukraine is one of the leaders of the Ukrainian brewing market in the country, created in 2018 as a result of the merger of AB InBev and Anadolu Efes in Ukraine and Russia. Before the Russian military invasion, AB InBev Efes Ukraine had three breweries in Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.

According to the company’s data, the portfolio of beer brands consists of global trademarks: Bud, Corona Extra, Stella Artois; international tardemarks: Hoegaarden, Leffe, Beck’s, Lowenbrau, Franziskaner, Spaten, Staropramen, Taller, Velkopopovickiy Kozel; as well as local trademarks Chernihivske, Rogan, Yantar, Zhygulivske Original.
