By KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) refutes the information of the Russian Defense Ministry about the alleged presence of rocket and artillery weapons at the enterprise, which was attacked by the occupiers.
"The Russian Ministry of Defense, in its Telegram channel and in a video statement from the speaker, commented on the recent shelling of Kryvyi Rih by Russian missiles and spread lies about the strike allegedly ‘on a warehouse of rocket and artillery weapons in one of the ArcelorMittal workshops.’ This is not true. Except for the fact of a strike on Kryvyi Rih mining and metallurgical plant on the night of December 5, the information of the Russian Defense Ministry is absolutely untrue," the plant said in a statement on Thursday evening.
At the same time, it is emphasized that ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, a part of the international company ArcelorMittal, is a mining and smelting enterprise whose metal products are used exclusively in civilian construction.
"The company categorically denies the presence of warehouses with military weapons at the plant, any missiles or launchers. As a result of this hard blow, our employee was killed and three more people were injured. We categorically protest against the shelling of peaceful premises and the killing of Ukrainians," the company said in the statement.
As reported, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih was subjected to a missile attack by Russian terrorists on the night of December 5.
