KYIV. Dec 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As of the morning of December 4, there were around 2,500 trucks queued towards Ukraine on the Ukrainian-Polish border, Spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko has said.
“Unfortunately, the blockade continues. I should recall that these are four directions: Yahodyn-Dorohusk, Krakovets-Korczowa, Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne, where the blockade started on Nvember 6. From November 23, the Shehyni-Medyka checkpoint was added. In general, as of this morning, there were around 2,500 vehicles queued towards Ukraine in the territory of Poland,” he told a press briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
The majority of the trucks, almost 900, were queued near the Rava-Ruska checkpoint. A few vehicles are able to cross the border in both directions. The most intensive movement is across the Krakovets checkpoint.
