KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Allo company reported an increase in online traffic during Black Friday, from November 17 to November 26, by 26%, and an average check by 30% compared to the same campaign last year.
As the company’s press service clarified, sales volumes have almost returned to the 2021 level, and compared to the beginning of November, the number of checks increased by 16%.
The average check for the Black Friday 2023 campaign period was UAH 4,785. It began to grow from the beginning of the sale and on November 24-26 exceeded UAH 5,000, which is 30% more than last year. The total number of checks increased by 16% compared to the beginning of November.
According to the company, sales volumes increased in most product categories. In particular, sales of TV sets, household appliances and gaming products more than doubled. The most expensive product was the gaming laptop ASUS ROG Strix Scar worth UAH 189,999. Last year, significant growth was demonstrated by goods that Ukrainians needed due to blackouts – power banks, generators and charging stations. Now the demand for them has fallen 6 times compared to last year’s high sales volume.
Online traffic on allo.ua during the 10 days of the sale increased by 60% compared to the previous week of November 2023 and by 26% when compared to last year’s Black Friday.
Allo customers were especially active in making purchases in the mobile application: the number of sessions and traffic during the sale increased by 63%, and the number of orders by 128% compared to the previous period. Overall, 54% of purchases were made by men and 46% by women. Slightly more than half of the customers who made purchases are from the age category of 25-44 years.
