KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The average monthly salary of full-time employees in the second quarter of 2023 increased by 11.2% compared to the first quarter of this year and amounted to UAH 17,176, the State Statistics Service reported.
As the statistical agency noted, compared to the second quarter of 2022, its growth was 25.2%.
According to the State Statistics Service, over the year the average monthly salary increased the most in the field of wholesale and retail trade – by 69.9%, to UAH 20,663, temporary accommodation and catering – by 51.5%, to UAH 12,221, and real estate transactions – by 51.3%, up to UAH 15,645, arts, sports and entertainment – by 41.4%, up to UAH 13,856.
In construction, its increase was recorded by 39.9% – to 11,837 UAH, in financial and insurance activities – by 34.7%, to UAH 32,801, in transport, postal and courier services – by 33.6%, to UAH 16,226, in the field of information and telecommunications – by 30.1%, to UAH 36,604.
In industry, according to the State Statistics Service, the growth was 26.2% – up to UAH 17,867, in professional, scientific, technical activities – 21.4%, up to UAH 22,871, in the field of administrative services – by 21.4%, up to UAH 13,984, in agriculture – by 14.9%, to UAH 14,792, in public administration and defense – by 13.3%, up to UAH 21,929, in education – by 9.4%, up to UAH 13,027, in healthcare – by 9.2%, to UAH 14,566.
The State Statistics Service reminds that the data are given without taking into account the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and part of the territories where hostilities are (were) ongoing.
