Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry expects 4% increase in national gas production, export to rise 7.6%

BAKU. Oct 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Gas production in Azerbaijan in 2023 is projected at 48.7 bcm, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said.

“In 2023, gas production in Azerbaijan is projected at 48.7 bcm, and exports at 24 bcm,” Shahbazov wrote in an article in the domestic press.

As reported, in 2022, 46.762 bcm of gas were produced in Azerbaijan. Therefore, production growth in 2023 will reach 4.1%.

In 2022, Azerbaijan exported 22.3 bcm of gas. In 2023, exports will increase 7.6%.
