Centravis plant in Nikopol working with interruptions due to shutdowns in power supply because of shelling

KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PrJSC Centravis Production Ukraine, which is part of the holding Centravis Ltd., is working with interruptions due to shutdowns in the supply of electricity due to shelling by Russian invaders of the energy infrastructure.

Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Artem Atanasov said in a letter to clients last Friday that Russia continues its aggression against Ukraine.

"Only during the massive shelling on December 16, more than 60 missiles were fired at our territory," he said.

"There are emergency power outages throughout the country, there are also problems with water and heat supply. At the same time, the restoration of the energy system continues, the situation is under control," the manager stated.

He added that last week the overhaul of the press line was completed at the plant and it was put into operation.

According to him, the company’s logistics team constantly monitors the safest ways to deliver finished products to customers. Sales offices operate worldwide – in Essen, Milan, Krakow, Lugano, Houston, and Dubai.

He also said that he was recently on a business trip in Azerbaijan, held a number of meetings and hopes that this will lead to an increase in sales of products in the near future.

Centravis is one of the ten largest manufacturers of seamless stainless steel pipes in the world. The company’s production is concentrated in Nikopol, which has been shelled almost daily by Russian troops since July this year.
