Dobrobut launches new expanded voluntary health insurance program together with INGO insurer

KYIV. Nov 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Dobrobut medical network has launched a new expanded voluntary health insurance program Dobropolis together with the INGO insurance company.

As reported in a press release from the medical network, the new program, the annual cost of which is from UAH 19,000, covers medical services costing up to UAH 300,000.

The program, in particular, includes treatment of emergency cases, outpatient care, emergency and planned hospital care, emergency care, covers injuries, high fever in a child, heart attack, stroke, ARVI, and also provides the opportunity to obtain additional dental and cancer insurance.

In addition, the new policy includes insurance for civilians against injuries received due to military operations in Ukraine.

“After the launch of Dobropolis for emergency situations in March of this year, we received a huge number of questions from our clients about whether it is possible to purchase insurance in Dobrobut for planned treatment and operations. Having promptly responded to this request, we have created another unique insurance product,” Dmytro Grossu, director of corporate sales at Dobrobut, is quoted in the press release.

Dobrobut is one of the largest private medical networks in Ukraine. It includes 17 medical centers in Kyiv city and the region, emergency services, dentistry and pharmacies. The network’s medical centers provide services for children and adults in more than 75 medical areas. Every year, Dobrobut specialists perform more than 7,000 operations. The network employs 2,700 people.

From the first days of the war, the Dobrobut treatment and diagnostic center in Kyiv provided free urgent medical care to the defenders of Ukraine and the population wounded as a result of hostilities 24/7. Thanks to the activities of the charitable foundations Direct Relief International and the Dobrobut Foundation, wounded military personnel and people in difficult situations due to the war can receive free assistance at the Dobrobut Children’s Center.

Dobrobut became the first private network in Ukraine to receive funding from the U.S. federal government – with the support of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the company will build a modern physical rehabilitation center.

JSC Insurance Company INGO has 30 years of experience in the market. Its main shareholder since 2017 is the Ukrainian business group DCH of Oleksandr Yaroslavsky.

The company has 29 licenses for various types of compulsory and voluntary insurance, provides insurance services to corporate and retail clients, and is a full member of the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU).

INGO, according to the National Bank, as of mid-2023 was eighth on the market in terms of assets (UAH 3.28 billion). Its net earned insurance premiums in the first half of the year reached UAH 971.4 million, insurance payments and indemnities – UAH 545.6 million, and net profit – UAH 152.0 million.
