By KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The draft state budget for 2024 provides for funding of the healthcare system in the amount of UAH 198.422 billion, including funding for the Medical Guarantee Program – UAH 158.757 billion.
The corresponding document was published by MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak on the Telegram channel on Friday.
According to the document, in particular, UAH 2.138 billion are allocated for the provision of specialized medical care provided by national medical institutions, and UAH 3.202 billion for specialized medical care provided by clinics of scientific institutions and universities.
The project provides funding in the amount of UAH 1.458 billion for the construction and modernization of medical institutions.
In addition, the 2024 state budget provides for financing a pilot project for dental prosthetics for certain categories of citizens who defended the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine – UAH 749.367 million is provided for this.
As reported, earlier on Friday the government approved the draft law on the state budget of Ukraine for 2024.
